WALDORF ASTORIA PARK CITY

Design and Purchasing: SRE Designs

The Waldorf Astoria maintains a reputation as one of the finest hotel brands worldwide.  Its flagship Park City resort, the largest ski resort in the USA, is exemplary of Waldorf luxury in every way.  A unique aspect to this Waldorf property is its family orientation.

As a destination for outdoor recreation in all seasons, a priority for new design of this Waldorf was selecting a furniture manufacturer at the top of their game in both quality and durability.  Ski season, with its winter gear and paraphernalia, would bring inadvertent abuse and challenges to their five- star accommodations.  For this among other reasons, Samuelson was proudly chosen as furniture provider of all guest rooms and suites.

Waldorf Luxury

Rustic, luxurious warmth permeates this lodge-like retreat.  Fireplaces throughout all guest rooms invite relaxation on sumptuous lounge chairs upholstered in warm leather tones with nail head trim and menswear fabric accents.

Cozy warmth abounds in bedroom areas where mountain views and stunning environment are captured.  Platform bed upholstered in leather features an arched headboard with subtle wing return, nail head trim and recessed base.

Suites

The comfort and durability of the well-tailored sofa (also sectional) opens to a sleeper with the finest bed frame and mattress mechanism. This item exemplifies the importance of proper construction for long term use and enjoyment. Along with antler wall art and iron light fixtures, artful details such as the serpentine winged back chair, deep wood tones of tables, dressers, desks, and granite tops showcase the beauty of a rustic vibe.
